Join us in Verdicchio Harvest and in a 76 Sagra dell’Uva night.
5 October, on Saturday, for the first time, we’ll open our vineyard to everyone, curious or expert, for a special event: Verdicchiamo: an all day dedicated to wine. That day you could get a vine grower for a day, partake in harvest, fell the emotion of bare feet crushing in a wooden wash tup and try the experience of winemaking.
It’ll be a way to relish the passion and skills we put in producing and valorising steel and sparkling Verdicchio Wine for over 50 years.
The day will start through the vineyard grapes line in order to harvest. After a country lunch in vineyard, we’ll go to bare feet crushing as was used in old time. In the afternoon you could see the wine making process during a guided tour through our winery that will end in the ageing striking cellar, where we keep prestigious bottles of Cuprese Verdicchio doc Classico Superiore since 1985 and the stellar Ubaldo Rosi Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Verdicchio doc Millesimato Riserva.
After you have worked, looked and smelled the wine, we’ll taste it together.
We’ll have a starter with the main wines of our Winery:
- Colonnara Brut Spumante Metodo Charmat
- Ubaldo Rosi Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Verdicchio doc Millesimato Riserva
- Cuprese Verdicchio doc Classico Superiore
- Tornamagno Marche Rosso igt.
Then, we’ll move to Sagra dell’Uva in Cupramontana, Verdicchio capital, where we’ll have dinner in an event stand.
After dinner we’ll be delighted by the music of Vinicio Capossela, in concert at 76 Sagra dell’Uva.
We’ll gift to participants a personalized bottle of Cuvée Tradition Spumante Brut Metodo Martinotti Verdicchio doc as exciting experience’s memory that we’ll have shared together.
