Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc Classico
The symbolic shape of a bottle of Verdicchio, designed by the architect Antonio Maiocchi in 1953, which became so common that it is now found in wine manuals as one of the typical, classic bottle shapes. It is a young, fresh wine, suitable for everyday family meals and shared moments with friends.
Quite intense, scents of fresh fruit and delicate floral notes.
Dry, quite warm, discrete softness, fresh and sapid.
Fish starters, boiled shellfish, first course pasta dishes with white seafood sauce or shellfish or vegetable sauce, boiled fish with a delicate sauce, pan fried fish with olive oil, rosemary and the same wine. Delicately cooked white meats, sweet variety smoked ham, young sheep’s cheese.
